On the heels of its recent success with submitting its first Small Business Innovation Research grant, provided through the US Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences, metaCAMPUS hopes to accelerate its progress toward developing the first globally marketable MOOA solution by designing and delivering its new corporate landing page, international affiliate pages, and the founding of its non-profit arm, the metaCAMPUS Policy Institute for competency based learning advocacy.
We will also be providing a public white paper for those people who might be interested in doing some light reading. The white paper will be a revised version of the metaCAMPUS SBIR grant submission, and will discuss the unique market opportunity to develop the metaCAMPUS MOOA network.
If you or someone you know has an interest in our grant submission, please fill out the form below or contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org:
Bellevue, WA 3/12/2014 – metaCAMPUS is pleased to announce that as part of its application process for SBIR Grant funding, that it intends to create a usability research study that will focus on mature, low-income and independent young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 in partnership with Seattle Education Access, a Seattle based non-profit group that is focused on assuring the attainment of higher education for under privileged urban youth.
If funded, metaCAMPUS & SEA will partner to design, develop and deliver usability and market research studies focused on the needs of this underprivileged demographic. The plan includes an incentive driven, monthly usability case study program focused on particular areas of need, as well as student interaction with the web. The study will be delivered via the web through simple survey tools and user interaction with the metaCAMPUS suite of applications.
A large sample of the market demographic will include single income, single mothers with GED and some college educational background as well as migrant youth between the ages of 18 and 25. By completing the study we hope to expose the daily struggles of these demographics by gathering data, and then developing and delivering solutions that meet the demographic’s immediate needs.
More information on the metaCAMPUS SBIR Grant project and its partnership with SEA can be found by contacting metaCAMPUS through the form below or at 210.816.1601.
