Digital Administration for a Digital Century



At metaCAMPUS our mission is to foster and develop partnerships that will create a lasting impact on the global labor force and knowledge transfer process in order to improve the quality of life around the world. Our goal is to fundamentally disrupt the foundations of our antiquated education infrastructure.   We believe that global or “Massive” Open Access to Education is and will continue to be the key to solving global income inequality and the vehicle for the 99% to earn a living wage.   We believe that through the technology we have today and through cooperation with key global partners, that by 2020 we can lay the foundations of the infrastructure for a truly global digital campus.



We have seen more change to the classroom and lecture hall in the first four and ½ years of this decade than we have in the last thousand years combined. For the first time we have access to classroom performance metrics and predictive analytic solutions that offer a data driven insight to instructor performance, learning styles and different modalities of information from rich visual, auditory and interactive and how they impact student learning. We owe the opportunity of the next four and ½ years to the digital education pioneers of this decade.   We would not have the opportunity that we do today if it weren’t for the shoulders of the giants that we have to stand on.

Classes called MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) emerged within the last two years and emphasizes a collaborative community  and connectivism between students, teachers, and administrators.  MOOCs have become instrumental in the path towards worldwide access to education. The concept of MOOAs (Massive Open Online Administrations)  could help cut costs in college systems by allowing administrators to manage faculty more efficiently and allow faculty structure to be reformed.

Visionary SaaS (Software as a service) companies such as Destiny Solutions and Governet deliver software that is centrally hosted on a cloud platform and have provided solutions for higher education organizations, credentialing systems and continuing education. With emphasis on cedentialing systems such as  and Khan Academy, the landscape of higher education is quickly evolving.

The US Department of Education Technology Plan 2010 highlights the need for creating more engaging learning experiences for all students. By connecting teachers so they can learn from one another, we can improve student achievement through new credentialing systems and assessments.  Thanks to these pioneers, the ability for technology to transform education is within reach.



Our national discourse on higher education is commonly distilled into one of two major crises:
1. The Student Debt Bubble

2. Administrative Accountability for Federal Funding


These are both a result of a broken Title IV disbursement process and a lack of standardization of process, infrastructure and curriculum across state institutions. Further, until today there has been no commercially available digital process for assigning institutionally verified completion of learning objectives to student learning records, meaning that the process of transfer of prior learning credit or ‘assessment’ and the inherent accountability is left up to the devices of the student.   Our vision for 2020 calls for a higher standard of accountability in this process to the other stakeholder groups involved.


We call for a digital standard of accountability for faculty, staff, leaders and accreditors alike. Our vision calls for a nationally accepted process for digital credentialing and a marketplace for the exchange of digital student learning records, to be accessed by institutions, employers, and government groups. This “META CAMPUS” will be a global beacon for attracting international knowledge workers and grow our domestic skilled labor force in order to justify a ‘trained’ living wage.


The vibrancy of our education system is a direct result of the 10th amendment which enumerated control of educational processes to the States, leading to local programs, flavor and independent governance and uniqueness of curriculum across 50 states. We challenge this nearly 300 year old model and call for CHANGE in order to pivot our national aim to the growing needs of a 21st century, digital and globally competitive workforce.
